Puppyaka "Pizza Puppy" aka "Space Cadet"
Marshall Ferrets (rescue) {Roan Panda} Born: 2020 We received puppy from an inexperienced owner. He was kept in a small rabbit/Guinea pig cage and was the only ferret. His owner seemed confused about his care and felt she could not keep up with his energy.
Puppy wants nothing more than to be held and loved on and will turn into putty in your hands. He's the first ferret we've experienced to try to fly. Puppy loves to jump off of things much to our dismay. He loves getting "uppies" and if you stroke his back just right it'll put him to sleep. He's a huge suck-up and always seeks people out. We're pretty sure he thinks he's a people. |

LemonMarshall Ferrets (rescue)
{Blaze} Born/Age: Estimated 2017 His previous owners were moving and unable to take him with them unfortunately. He was a lone ferret but observing his behavior he seems to have had a lot of play time with his owners.
He's a big lazy boy. We had him as a companion for our belated elderly sprite, Sushi. He took good care of her and guarded her from Puppy's boisterous behavior in her final days. He was sad for a time but Puppy kept him on his toes. Lemon loves going for our feet, loves bouncy balls in particular. He has a favorite large yellow puzzle ball that we're not sure how, but he can lift it and carry it all the way up to a high shelf that he'll, quite literally, throw into a hammock. If it ever falls out, he takes it all the way back up all over again. With age, his health has shown the usual Marshall Ferrets signs. We are currently treating him for adrenal disease. |
